Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2025

At Lucira.ai, we take your privacy and data protection seriously. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and the choices you have when connecting Google services to Lucira.ai. It applies to our website and web application at Lucira.ai.

1. What data we access from Google

When you connect Google to Lucira.ai, the app may access data only as necessary to provide analytics and insights:

  • Google Analytics Data API (GA4) via the read‑only scope “https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly”. We retrieve aggregated metrics and dimensions (e.g., sessions, page views, events, traffic sources, engagement time).

Lucira.ai does not request or access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or other Google user data outside of the scopes you authorize. Lucira.ai does not collect or infer personally identifiable information (PII) from these sources.

2. Purpose of processing

We use the above data to power insights and AI recommendations within Lucira.ai—such as trend analysis, content performance, conversion diagnostics, and alerts. Data is not used for advertising, profiling outside Lucira.ai, or resale.

3. OAuth permission and your control

You connect your Google account through the Google OAuth flow and can stop access at any time:

  • In Lucira.ai: Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics Disconnect. This stops Lucira.ai from accessing your GA4 data for connected properties. Your Google Sign‑In remains active. You can reconnect GA4 anytime by authorizing again, or revoke all access from your Google AccountSecurityThird‑party access page.
  • In your Google Account: Google Account → Security → Third‑party access (remove Lucira.ai’s access) to revoke from Google’s side as well.

Disconnecting or revoking access stops any new data retrieval from Google.

3A. Chat, prompts, and image uploads

Lucira.ai integrates with third-party technologies to enhance performance and deliver advanced features:

  • Google Analytics: used to retrieve aggregated website metrics.
  • OpenAI (GPT technology): powers Lucira.ai's intelligence engine to interpret data and generate automated recommendations in the dashboard.

Information processed through these services is handled under strict security policies and never shared beyond the intended use by the user.

  • What is processed: the images you choose to upload and your prompts; optional extracted text/metadata (e.g., from OCR) strictly for the requested features.
  • No model training: Lucira.ai does not use your workspace data or uploads to train our or third parties’ general models. When using OpenAI/Gemini, we send only the minimum necessary context and request no training/retention where provider controls allow it.
  • Recommended use: avoid uploading sensitive personal data in images unless strictly necessary.
  • Retention of chat content: by default, chat messages and image uploads are retained in your workspace history until you delete them (or an admin configures a shorter retention). When you delete chat items, we remove them from active systems and complete purge from backups/logs within 30 days.
  • Safety: we may scan uploads for abuse and block or remove content that violates our Acceptable Use.

3B. Website analysis you request

When you provide a website URL, Lucira.ai may fetch and analyze publicly available content and metadata from that site to personalize insights (e.g., sitemaps, page titles, meta tags, text snippets, publicly visible analytics signals). We respect standard controls (e.g., robots.txt where applicable) and do not attempt to bypass protections. Retention: we keep derived, aggregated/non‑PII summaries for up to 90 days to power trends and recommendations, then delete or anonymize them. You can request deletion at any time at dieysoftware@gmail.com.

4. Minimal technical information

To operate and protect the service, our hosting/security providers may process connection metadata (e.g., network and browser data) for a limited time for security and diagnostics. We also use Google Analytics 4 with first‑party cookies to measure aggregated site/app usage; we do not receive IP addresses or PII from GA4 and we do not enable advertising features. See the Cookie Policy for details.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Lucira.ai does not set first‑party advertising cookies. Third‑party services (e.g., Google) may use cookies to collect aggregated usage information. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.

6. Legal bases

We process your data under: (a) consent granted during the OAuth flow, and (b) contractual necessity to provide the service you requested.

7. Data security and OAuth tokens

If OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) are stored, we protect them using industry‑standard controls, including encryption at rest, transport security, and least‑privilege access. Tokens are used only to read the permitted data and are rotated or invalidated per Google’s policies.

8. Data storage and retention

Lucira.ai focuses on data minimization. GA4 retention (aggregated, non‑PII): We do not retain raw GA4 rows. We may retain aggregated, non‑PII analytics (e.g., daily totals by channel/device) until you delete them or disconnect Google Analytics (which triggers deletion for your workspace). Backups/logs are fully purged within 30 days. (Website analysis and workspace items have their own retention—see §§3B and 11A.)

9. Use of third‑party technologies

  • Google Analytics Data API (GA4) provide the aggregated analytics described above.
  • OpenAI (GPT models) and Google Gemini models (via the Gemini API or Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, depending on your configuration) help interpret analytics and generate summaries or recommendations within Lucira.ai. We do not send PII to these providers; we share only the minimum necessary, aggregated analytics context to produce on‑platform insights. Where available, we configure enterprise data controls (e.g., zero data retention on Vertex AI) to prevent model training on our prompts and outputs, and we honor the providers’ data‑use policies.

10. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your data. We may use vetted service providers (e.g., hosting, cloud, observability, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under data‑processing terms and security controls. A list of material sub‑processors is available upon request at dieysoftware@gmail.com.

10A. Service communications

We use your email address to send transactional notifications related to the service (e.g., “your results are ready”, security alerts, account notices). These messages are not marketing. We may process basic delivery logs (recipient, timestamp, status) for up to 90 days for troubleshooting and fraud prevention. We use vetted email providers acting as our processors under data‑processing terms. You can manage marketing preferences separately, if offered.

11. International data transfers

We may process data using infrastructure located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

11A. Workspace content

Textual insights and configurations you create in Lucira.ai are stored in your workspace until you delete them or your admin sets a shorter retention. These items do not contain raw third‑party data; they are summaries or aggregates generated for your team. When you delete an item, we remove it from active systems and complete purge from backups/logs within 30 days.

12. Children’s privacy

Lucira.ai is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or lower age as defined by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to processing. You can:

  • Disconnect Google Analytics in the app (see Section 3), or revoke all access from your Google Account.
  • Request data deletion or a copy of your data at dieysoftware@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days (or the timeframe required by applicable law).

14. Jurisdiction and territorial scope

Lucira.ai primarily operates from Mexico. This policy aligns with the LFPDPPP and, where applicable, with the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our site or email. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.

Questions or requests: dieysoftware@gmail.com

17. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Lucira.ai’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This applies to raw data obtained from the authorized scopes and to data that is aggregated, anonymized, or derived from it. We limit use to providing or improving user‑facing features in Lucira.ai, restrict transfers to what is necessary to operate those features, and prohibit selling the data or using it for advertising.
